Spyder treated the durable full-dull nylon fabric with a special XT coating that penetrates the fabric and forms a honeycomb pore structure that lets vapor escape while keeping exterior water droplets outside the suit. A Spylon water repellent finish helps keep the droplets from consolidating and saturating the pores.
