The Word
The North Face Pamir jacket has proven to be a winner among consumers, receiving a cumulative score of 5 stars at Backcountry.com and Altrec.com.
The pros included positive remarks about the Pamir’s comfort, warmth, and layering ability. This jacket can be zipped into other TNF jackets for a extra layer of protection on colder windy days.
Only two minor complaints were noted about the jacket. One individual felt it was a bit more roomy that expected, and another thought that slightly thicker fleece would be a plus.
Hiker’s Corner Input
Despite a couple negative comments, the Pamir still pulled off a five star rating by consumers, which is promising. In fact, the lowest individual rating was 4 stars. With that in mind, it appears that its a reasonable choice as a jacket on cool days, or a layer inside another TNF shell for really cold weather.
